Workbox Group

We meet monthly in The Library at St Mark’s on the first Thursday of the month from 10 a.m. to 12 noon.   During Lent  we meet every Thursday, beginning after Ash Wednesday. 

Our Lent and Spring work is concentrated on making items for the Neo-Natal Department and its Intensive Care Unit situated at the Royal Bournemouth Hospital. 
Autumn sees us making warm clothing which can be distributed to those in need by The Salvation Army at Winton. 

We enjoy great fellowship and sharing of ideas and news as a group.  Come along and join us at any time.

Workbox Update May 2024

Wow is all I can say.

We have made
·       61 Blankets
·       22 Graduation Hats
·       10 Cardigans
·       7 Breast pump bags
·       21 pairs of bonding squares
·       77 Cannula sleeves
Thank you all of you for your hard work since the New Year.  It makes such a difference to knit to the specific requirements of the Neonatal Unit.

Hope you like our “Baby.”
