House Groups

In the autumn of 2014 weekly meetings took place on Monday evenings in the Parish hall library to explore and discuss the Christian faith and issues in a relaxed and informal way. This was in preparation for forming Home Groups hosted by members of the parish.

From this beginning, small, friendly, daytime and evening groups now meet on different days of the week to share Christian fellowship, the Bible, refreshments and conversation.

Question such as:

Is it really possible to live a Christian life today?
Is Christianity relevant today?
What can you do when life goes wrong?   -   are among the topics discussed.

House groups are now an important part of our church family at St Marks. At present we have two groups running, one that meets in the evening, one in the day time – although there may be “a summer recess” – please check with the individual House group leaders below. New members are always welcome so there is no need to wait for a new session or topic to simply join in. They are very informal times in which we study a bible based theme or, perhaps, a bible character. There is always a chance to discuss what we read and make it applicable to our normal daily lives. Refreshments add to the opportunity to get to know one another a little better and share life’s ups and downs. For more information and details of times and venues please contact either:
