Friends of St Mark’s Church
 
Friends of St Mark’s Church were set up in the 90s to generate funds to help with the repairs and essential work in the Church.
 
The initial project was the large extension to the West end of the Church, and the addition of the Choir vestry, Flower room & toilet. This was a massive undertaking & led to the formation of the Friends by David Cundy, David Cannings, Eric Wood & Robert Franklin.
 
We aim to put on fundraising events during the year, so we need help & support from anyone willing & able to spare some time please!
 
If you are interested in becoming a Friend, pick up one of the leaflets in the Church lobby & return it to Mary Matthews (in the choir) or me any Sunday.
