During the year St Mark's sponsor and run a number of events. Usually, these are organised and run by members of the congregation sometimes supplemented with volunteers from other organisations such as The Rotary Club.

In order that these can take place safely an Activity Risk Assessment procedure has been devised. This enables organisers to consider and assess the various physical elements and people, including publicity, associated with running their event.

Consideration can thus also be given to any operational impacts in so far as they may relate to both safeguarding and health and safety matters.
